Rokenbok has come a long way since Paul Eichen founded the company in 1997 and launched at the American International Toy Fair in New York. This month we're honoring that journey with a Sweet 16 Birthday Bash (Rokenbok can officially drive!) We'll be celebrating with some of our historically favorite customer builds, a Facebook birthday photo contest, a little Rokenbok history and lots of birthday gifts and prizes. We hope you'll join us!

Did You Know?

  • The original idea behind Rokenbok was for the vehicles to do all the construction? Kids found the concept too slow and wanted to build themselves and the idea was modified.
  • When designing ROK Balls John Crane, Rokenbok's head engineer, tied a ball to fishing line and swallowed it, intentionally choking himself, to test breathability.
  • Rokenbok was originally called BotBlocks until the company came up with the preferred name, Rokenbok.
  • During the naming brainstorm Dekka, Modus, Mobi, Moto, Tiga, Ekko, and Tekton all were discussed.
